Peek into the life of South Bronx, NY native & TV Animation Producer/Director LeSean Thomas (The Boondocks, The Legend of Korra, Black Dynamite: The ANimated Series) as we follow him through the animation studios of Seoul, South Korea while revealing the process of what he does there for a living.
I always geek out when any news about LeSean Thomas comes up because:
The Boondocks, I watch that. The Legend of Korra, I really really watch that. [I’ve dabbled in Black Dynamite’s animated series and, while different from the live action film, it’s still a good watch.]
Creative Control and LeSean have commissioned this series in hopes of shedding some light on the industry he is very much a part of.
You can rest assured the rest of the episodes will be posted here as soon as they are released.
editor’s note: I’ve always loved South Korea because of the films that have come outta there (like Oldboy, I Saw The Devil and The Man From Nowhere amongst many others) but I never knew it was a place for animation. From Avatar to Korra, there was a drastic change in animation — you notice it a lot in the fight scenes — so I am interested in seeing what part of the process LeSean participates in.
